Galgotias University asked to vacate India AI Summit after China-made robodog fiasco: Sources
Noida-based Galgotias University was asked on Wednesday to vacate the India AI Impact Summit immediately following a controversy over the institution presenting a Chinese robodog as its own, sources said. The university was shown the door after facing massive backlash on social media, despite later stating that it had never claimed to have built the device. However, that too was fact-checked on X, with a community note saying that Galgotias explicitly claimed at the AI Summit that the robodog was developed by their team.

India on Monday said it has not held bilateral talks with the United States on deploying naval vessels to secure merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The clarification came after US President Donald Trump urged countries to send warships to keep the strategic waterway open amid tensions with Iran.
