Four more diagnosed with ZIKA in capital

The State’s Zika virus (ZIKV) tally rose to 23 on Tuesday with four new cases being reported from scattered urban locales within the capital district. Of the 23 ZIKV cases reported so far, three have been in pregnant women. On Tuesday, a 35-year-old woman at Poonthura, a 41-year-old pregnant woman at Sasthamangalam, a 38-year-old doctor at a private hospital and a 16-year-old girl at Karikkakam were diagnosed with the infection.
