As many as five children, who had gone for a bath, drowned in a water tank in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar field on Sunday.
At least five children drowned in a water storage tank in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar on Sunday.
The children had gone to take a bath in the tank in a field in Sriganganagar's Anoopgarh.
Police said they reached the spot as soon as they were informed and recovered the bodies.
They said the death toll could rise. Police said they'd investigate the matter.

The desert state has been witnessing a lot of drowning incidents lately. A few days ago, an incident of a car being swept away in rainwater was reported from Jodhpur while four children drowned in a pit filled with rainwater in Gawariyon ki Dhani under the Bhopalgarh sub-division.
