Fit India Quiz preliminary round results announced, UP boys grab top spots

The results for the Fit India Quiz have been announced and two boys from the state of Uttar Pradesh have grabbed the first two spots.
The results of the preliminary round of the first-ever Fit India Quiz organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has been announced today. Two students from the state of Uttar Pradesh topped the preliminary round while outperforming students from all the states.
The top spot was bagged by Divyanshu Chamoli of Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, the second spot was bagged by Shashwat Mishra of Sunbeam School, Varanasi in close competition.
Arkamita, who studies at the Baldwin Girls High School, Bengaluru, followed the duo in third spot while also being the top scorer for the state of Karnataka.
The preliminary round of the Fit India Quiz, saw participants from 13,502 schools from more than 659 districts across the country, out of which students of 361 schools across 36 States and Union Territories have now been shortlisted for the State Rounds.
The Fit India Quiz entails a prize money of Rs 3.25 crores which will be awarded to winning schools and students at various stages of the quiz.
The quiz winners at each stage will win cash prizes and can claim the title of being India's 1st Fit India State/National level Quiz Champion.
The National Testing Agency organised the preliminary round of the quiz, the top scorers of which will then progress to the state round and compete to become their respective state champions.
