Rajkumar Mehta, the father of software engineer Yuvraj, has moved to London with his daughter, leaving their house locked, with neighbours saying he intends to return soon.
The father of Yuvraj Mehta, the 27-year-old software engineer who drowned after his car fell into a water-filled pit in Greater Noida last month, has left for London with his daughter, leaving the family’s Noida residence locked for now. Neighbours at Tata Eureka Park Society in Sector-150 said Rajkumar Mehta informed them he would return soon, even as the family continues to grapple with the tragedy and await justice.
Yuvraj died on January 16 after his car plunged into a deep, waterlogged basement near the Sector 150 turn, barely 500 metres from his home.
He was returning from his office in Gurugram when the accident occurred.
Police believe dense fog may have contributed to the crash.
His vehicle reportedly broke through a drain wall and fell into a pit estimated to be 20 to 30 feet deep.
According to police, Yuvraj managed to escape the vehicle briefly and called his father to inform him about the accident.

India on Monday said it has not held bilateral talks with the United States on deploying naval vessels to secure merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The clarification came after US President Donald Trump urged countries to send warships to keep the strategic waterway open amid tensions with Iran.
