There has been a sudden spike in the number of COVID cases and getting the jab seems like the only important thing right now provided you are eligible for it. The tech companies are spreading awareness about the vaccine in their own creative ways. Facebook in the blog said that more and more people will head out to get the vaccine when they see many people they trust are doing it. The profile frames will be able to highlight who has taken the vaccine and who hasn’t. The social media giant has partnered with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). “Today, we’re launching new COVID-19 vaccine profile frames on Facebook that we developed in collaboration with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The new frames will let you share your support for COVID-19 vaccines and see that others you respect and care about are doing the same. In the coming weeks, we’ll show you a summary in your News Feed of your friends, family members, and people you follow who are using the COVID-19 vaccine profile frames,” Facebook noted in the blog.
