Veer Soren had travelled to the popular tourist town with five friends from Panipat for a short trip. The group had been staying in the Simsa area and visiting local attractions, including Solang and Sethan, before the incident unfolded.
According to information available, Soren returned to his homestay late at night on February 23. Around 12.30 am, when his friends tried to wake him, he complained of a severe headache. An online order for medicine was placed, and he took the dose before going back to sleep.
The following afternoon, at around 2 pm, his friends heard a thud from inside the room. When they rushed in, they found him lying on the floor beside the bed. He was immediately taken in a private vehicle to Civil Hospital Manali.
Sources said foam had begun to come out of his mouth before he reached the hospital. Doctors attempted CPR for an extended period but declared him dead during treatment.
