The chat appeared to be from a conversation in which the manager had asked the employee about the status of a particular assignment, for which the employee was awaiting inputs from the marketing team.
In the chat, the employee informed the manager, “It’s still in process but I’ll share it with you once I receive it from the marketing team.”
The manager replied, “Great, thanks,” before asking, “it’s already close to midnight for you, isn’t it?”
When the employee responded, “Hahaha, yes it is actually,” the manager ended the conversation with a remark that went viral: “So it’s time to stop working.”
