A video message by Hema's daughter Esha Deol was played at the show and it brought everyone to tears. In the clip, Esha talked about how Hema is a Dream Girl for everyone, but she is 'Amma' to her and her sister Ahana. Esha recalled the time of her bidaai, when Hema stayed strong during the bidaai ceremony but after Esha left, she called her and cried.
