EDMC starts e-library for students and teachers

The EDMC has developed an e-library for the benefit of its students and teachers.
East Delhi Municipal Corporation has established an e-library for both students and teachers to further strengthen digital learning in its schools, as informed by officials on Monday. The officials informed further that this digital storehouse of learning resources has been developed through the joint effort of the civic body and Tech Mahindra Foundation.
The e-library was inaugurated via video conferencing by the EDMC Commissioner Vikas Anand on Monday.This online library is a digital storehouse of learning resources that is the result of a collaboration between EDMC teachers and the faculty members of In-Service Teacher Education Institute, Tech Mahindra Foundation, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The officials also informed that this online repository contains worksheets, audios, and videos on the subjects of Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Social Studies for primary classes along with Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) resources.
The civic body informed further that this move will benefit more than 2,25,000 students and 4,500 teachers across 354 EDMC primary schools.
Teachers, school principals and students will be able to access the e-library by using log-in credentials.
The officials went on to add that the e-library will continue to benefit future students and teachers too.
