Ducati have launched the much-awaited Streetfighter V4 and the V4 S in India. The Streetfighter V4 attempts to distill the manic performance of the Panigale V4 into a road focused streetfighter.
Ducati have finally launched the new V4 and the V4S in India, prices for the flagship Italian naked bike will start at Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the range topping V4 S will cost Rs 23 lakh. For the additional dime the V4 S gets Ohlins electronically adjustable springs, an Ohlins steering damper and lighter Marchesini forged aluminium wheels. The designers at Ducati integrated a set of Formula1-inspired air extractors into the semi-fairing and added a set of bi-plane winglets on each side that helps keep the bike more compact. The winglets create a downforce that not only grounds the bike but also helps keep the front wheel down. The Streetfighter also has a slightly longer wheelbase than its fully-faired counterpart, stretched by 15mm and the steering stem has been moved forward by 2mm.
