The new Ducati Streetfighter V2 has a sharper design compared to other streetfighters in the company’s portfolio, but still takes inspiration from the classic elements of its elder Ducati Streetfighter V4 sibling.
You get a Ducati Streetfighter V2 when a Panigale V2 is stripped of its fairings and is added with a high and wide handlebar to the mix, with 153bhp generated from a 955cc Superquadro engine controlled by the latest-generation electronics package. That’s the Ducati Streetfighter V2 for the enthusiast! In other words, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is a sports-naked motorcycle with the DNA of the Panigale V2 but stripped down for young riders or those looking for the energy from the larger sports bike. The new Ducati Streetfighter V2 has a sharper design compared to other streetfighters in the company’s portfolio but still takes inspiration from the classic elements of its elder Ducati Streetfighter V4 sibling.
Designed at the Ducati Centro Stile, Ducati’s design centre in Italy, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 takes styling cues from the older Streetfighter V4 with a muscular approach. The Streetfighter V2 is shaped around the mechanics inherited from the Panigale V2 with the load-bearing element represented by the Superquadro engine which integrates onto the tank. The bodywork of the new Streetfighter V2 consists of two main lines connecting the tail to the front fairing through the engine and the tip. The fascia is comparable to the Panigale V4 front with a distinctive headlight design that consists of a V-shaped DLR, and the famous grin of the Joker. The headlights are also part of the double-layer fairing that integrates the air intakes.
