Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is doing great business at the box office in India. In three days, the film managed to mint Rs 97 crore.
In the 1960s, Stephen J Dikto and Stan Lee created the fictional character Doctor Strange. The Marvel Cinematic Universe produced its fourteenth film in 2016, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange. After keeping the fans waiting for a long time, Marvel Studios finally released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 6 in India. Needless to say, the film had a grand opening in the country with Rs 30 crore collection on the first day itself. And by the end of Day 3, Doctor Strange 2 collected Rs 97 crore in India.
Benedict Cumberbatch is once again here to blow our minds. Even before the film was released, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had collected Rs 10 crore from advance bookings. It was released in India in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on May 6, 2022. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film has earned Rs 97 crore in three days. With a grand opening in India, the film may zoom past Spiderman: No Way Home's box office collection in India.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is doing phenomenal business globally as well. However, India remains its fifth-highest market in the international circuit after Korea, UK, Mexico and Brazil.
