Dheeraj Dhoopar says ‘Vinny asked me to win the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 trophy for her’ | Exclusive

Dheeraj Dhoopar, in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, speaks about Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. He also opened up about participating in Bigg Boss.

Dheeraj Dhoopar recently embraced fatherhood. The actor will be juggling between two shows, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, and Sherdill Shergill, where he reunites with Surbhi Chandna. During an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Dheeraj said that he wanted to do Jhalak so that he could call himself a better dancer. He also revealed participating in Bigg Boss.

Answering why he decided to take up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 this year, Dheeraj told IndiaToday.in, “I have never done any Reality TV. Reality TV is a very new space for me. I don’t know what to expect. I am here to learn while having fun. Learning in a way that after this journey, I should be able to call myself a better dancer and performer, and actor. Also, I embraced fatherhood recently, so I also want to be a better human being. I want to be a better version of myself. It is changing me every day, doing two shows together, managing time, getting injured, going home, doing rehearsals.”

Dheeraj continued, “I never did formal training in dancing. My sole reason to do Jhalak is that I can call myself a dancer. I want to get comfortable doing reality shows.”

When asked how wife Vinny Arora is responding to him taking up so many roles, Dheeraj answered, “We were pregnant when Sherdill happened and then we got a call for Jhalak. I was a little apprehensive about taking it up, because of the timing. Vinny pushed me and told me I must get the trophy for her and hence, I am here doing it. I am here to win.” For those unaware, Vinny and Dheeraj welcomed a baby boy recently.

Since he is now doing Jhalak, will he be open to doing Bigg Boss as well? “Not ready for it, but never say never. I personally feel I am not ready for it currently,” he mentioned.
