Delhi transport minister forms 6-member committee to look into rising number of fire incidents in DTC buses

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has asked the six-member committee to look into rising cases of fire in DTC buses and submit the report in 15 days.

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has formed a six-member committee to find out the root cause of increasing fire incidents in the DTC buses.

The committee will also look into the modalities of repair and maintenance, scrutiny checks of buses at various levels and suggest remedies.

The six-member committee has been asked to submit its interim report within 15 days.

Four fire incidents on DTC buses have been reported in the last two months.
