A man was arrested for firing shots in the air in Delhi’s Shubhash Nagar area to intimidate his ex-girlfriend who had blocked his mobile number. The firing took place on March 10. The police later arrested him. A woman informed the police that her friend’s ex-boyfriend, Suresh Kadyan, arrived in a black Scorpio car and fired shots. According to the complainant, her friend had borrowed money from him while they were in a relationship. After the breakup, the man allegedly started to send death threats for his money.More Related News

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
