Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia has announced that colleges, coaching centres to remain closed and exams for classes 9, 11 exams have been postponed. The Delhi Government has decided to shut down colleges and coaching centres in view of the recent spike in active COVID-19 cases. The remaining Class 9 and Class 11 exams in Delhi Government schools have also been postponed and new dates will be announced soon.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who also holds the education portfolio conducted an online interaction with students on Saturday to announce that all educational institutions will remain closed. Delhi Government school class 9 and 11 exams have now been postponed till April 20 and new dates for exams will be announced soon. The education minister was responding via social media to questions raised by the students.
