Delhi businessman offers help, Mohali couple flees with his car

Police in Kharar have lodged an FIR against the Mohali-based couple over a complaint filed by the Chandni Chowk resident, Anwar Hashmi.

A Delhi-based businessman, who frequents Punjab for work, was duped by a couple who were seeking employment from him. As he tried to help the man, he allegedly asked for the businessman’s car and fled with it.

Police in Kharar have lodged an FIR against the Mohali-based couple over a complaint filed by the Chandni Chowk resident, Anwar Hashmi, reported The Indian Express. The businessman has said that whenever he visits Mohali, he puts up at Hotel Centra and there he met a woman named ‘Elizabeth’.
