Two individuals transporting 115 liquor bottles worth ₹2.3 lakh allegedly smuggled from a defence canteen through Hafizpet were detained in Serilingampally by the Shamshabad’s District Task Force (DTF) under the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department on Sunday morning. Acting on the tip-off, the DTF team recovered 86.25 litres of liquor. Further investigation is underway.
