A heartwarming video shared by a woman to mark her parents' first wedding anniversary has touched viewers across social media, highlighting her mother's journey as a single parent and the support of her daughter as she remarries.
A daughter watching her mother find love again is not a moment many get to witness. But for Pooja Bhatnagar, it became a memory she chose to share with the internet and no prizes for guessing that it has gone viral.
To commemorate her parents’ first wedding anniversary, Pooja shared a heartwarming video that featured snippets from their ceremony.
Her mother was seen dressed in traditional red as moments from the celebration unfolded. “POV: You see your mother marrying her soulmate,” read the text overlay.
She also reflected on the emotions she experienced that day, saying: “No one would know how many tears I cried this day; tears of joy of course. I still feel so lucky to have witnessed this. My mumma getting married. If at all I know something now, it is that true love always wins.”
In the post, she wished the couple and affectionately added, “no nazar to the couple,” a phrase often used to ward off the evil eye.
