Opposition leaders say it is too late and without preparation
In the midst of a surge in COVID-19 cases, the State government has convened an all-party meeting on April 18 to discuss strategies to combat the spread of the virus. However, the decision has been slammed by the Opposition that felt it to be too late and without preparation. “We will take decisions based on the suggestions given by the Opposition leaders. We will discuss all the issues with the leaders during the meeting,” Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa told reporters here on Wednesday. “Except for lockdown, we want to take strict measures to curb the COVID-19 spread. If need be, the night curfew could be extended to two or three more districts,” he added.More Related News
