Union Minister Kiren Rijiju alleged that 20–25 Congress MPs stormed into Speaker Om Birla's chamber, abused and threatened him and the Prime Minister during a parliamentary face-off, and shared what he claimed was an illegally recorded video of the incident.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday alleged that a large group of Congress MPs stormed into Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s chamber, where they abused and threatened him during the recent face-off between the Opposition and the government in Parliament.
The minister also shared a video of the incident, which he claimed was illegally recorded, triggering a fresh political flashpoint as tense proceedings in Parliament continue.

"This is the illegal video clip taken by a Congress MP when 20-25 Congress MPs entered the Chamber of Hon’ble Speaker, abused him and threatened Honb'le Prime Minister. Our party believes in debate & discussion and never encourage MPs to threaten physically," Rijiju wrote on X.
