Citroen C3 unveiled; India launch in first half of 2022

Citroen C3 launch in India will take place in the first half fo 2022. It is a sub-4m offering that is likely to be positioned towards the lower end of the sub-4m SUV segment.

Having started its journey in the Indian market with the flagship C5 Aircross SUV, Citroen is now targeting volumes with the all-new C3 sub-4m crossover/SUV. The Citroen C3 has been unveiled globally and is slated to go on sale in India in the first half of 2022.

Citroen is billing the C3 as an alternative to premium hatchbacks, a car with prominent SUV design cues. Styling is unmistakably Citroen, especially the newer models with its split headlamp setup and Y-shape LED DRLs. The plastic cladding with the orange highlight seen in the images here is reminiscent of the bigger C5 Aircross sold in India. In terms of length, the Citroen C3 measures 3.98m. It has a wheelbase of 2,540mm and Citroen claims that the space within the C3's cabin is amongst the best in the segment. The Citroen C3 has a ground clearance of 180mm.
