Chinese influencer loses 1.4 lakh followers after beauty filter glitch amid live stream
India Today
A Chinese influencer's livestream saw a sudden drop in followers after a technical glitch revealed her real face without any makeup.
In an era where algorithms reward flawlessness, even a moment of unfiltered reality can feel shocking. A Chinese content creator learned that firsthand when her beauty filter malfunctioned during a live broadcast.
Clips of the moment have since gone viral, fuelling conversations about digital beauty standards and the pressures of online performance.
The influencer is seen hosting a routine live session when the filter abruptly drops. The transformation is subtle but noticeable: smoother, porcelain-like skin gives way to natural texture and a warmer complexion. Her eyes appear smaller, her jawline softer, features closer to everyday reality than the stylised, doll-like version viewers had been watching.
Within seconds, the filter reactivates, restoring the enlarged eyes, sharpened contours and pale glow. The woman, however, remains composed. She adjusts her hair, smiles at the camera and continues as if nothing unusual occurred.

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
