Chennai: Man blackmails model with her morphed pics for sexual favour, arrested

A man in Chennai has been arrested for blackmailing a female model and asking for sexual favours.

A 26-year-old man from Chennai has been arrested for blackmailing a female model with her morphed images. The accused also demanded sexual favours from the model and threatened to upload the digitally altered pictures of hers on the internet if she refused.

The arrested suspect, identified as Ranjith, is a resident of Tiruppur and works as an event manager of a company he runs in Perumbakkam. He had befriended the model, who lives near Kolathur in Chennai and, on the pretext of providing her with work opportunities through his contacts, called her on multiple occasions.
