CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2021: No merit list to be released second time in a row

Similar to last year, CBSE will not be releasing a merit list for Class 10 and Class 12 results this year in view of the cancellation of exams.

For the second year in a row, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not be releasing the merit list of students for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results 2021. This decision has been made due to the current pandemic situation and the changes in the evaluation criteria. CBSE last announced the toppers of Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2019. No merit list was released in 2020 due to the uncertain situation caused by the pandemic. In 2019, a total of 97 Class 10 students were in the top three positions while 23 Class 12 students were in the top three positions.
