CBSE, CISCE Class 10, 12 term 2 exams: Expected exam dates and paper pattern

CBSE and CISCE have not released any official notification regarding Class 10 and 12 term 2 exam dates. So, candidates can get an idea about exam dates and paper pattern.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the India School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) term 2 exams are expected to be conducted in March-April if the Covid-19 situation is stable. As of now, there is no official confirmation of the term 2 exams for the academic session. Candidates can get an idea about the CBSE and CISCE term 2 exam pattern here.
CBSE will announce an update on the second term exams after reviewing the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Once the CBSE term 2 date sheet is released, students will be able to check the date sheet on the official website-cbse.gov.in.
Some reports are also saying that the term 2 datesheet will be released after releasing the CBSE Class 10 and 12 term 1 results.
The term 2 exams will contain short and long type questions. The question papers for term 2 will feature some internal choices as well as subjective and case-based questions.
The exam will be held for a duration of two hours. CBSE has also released term 2 sample papers on the official website-cbseacademic.nic.in.
The CISCE board is expected to release the Class 12 and 10 semester 2 date sheet by February. The semester 2 exams are expected to be held in March or April. Some reports are also saying that the board will update on the semester 2 examination after declaring the results of semester 1.
CISCE has changed the exam pattern for both exams. The question paper for each semester's exam will be 80 marks for Class 12 and 70 marks for ISC.
