Caused worldwide embarrassment: AAP accuses BJP of copy-paste over Galgotias row
India Today
AAP accused the BJP government of causing "worldwide embarrassment" over the Galgotias University robodog controversy at the India AI Impact Summit, calling it a "copy-paste" fraud.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday sharpened its attack on the BJP over the Galgotias University robodog controversy at the India AI Impact Summit, alleging that the incident has embarrassed Indian scientists and engineers on a global platform.
In a post on X, AAP described the episode as a “fraud” and said it had damaged India’s scientific credibility.

"The BJP government has been running a copy-paste model from the beginning. Now the government is organising an AI Summit under the supervision of ‘Reel minister’ Ashwini Vaishnaw. During this, a private university brought a robot dog from China and passed it off as its own research. This fraud is making Indian scientists and engineers a subject of ridicule across the world,” AAP said.
Earlier in the day, Authorities have asked Galgotias University to vacate the AI Impact Summit Expo following allegations that it displayed a Chinese-made robotic dog at its stall as its own invention, sources said. The university faced severe online and offline criticism after the robot was seen at its exhibit.
The India AI Impact Summit is a five-day programme built around three pillars: People, Planet and Progress.

India on Monday said it has not held bilateral talks with the United States on deploying naval vessels to secure merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The clarification came after US President Donald Trump urged countries to send warships to keep the strategic waterway open amid tensions with Iran.
