An elderly woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Alwar was dragged to the ground and assaulted by her neighbours, who allegedly barged into her home following a dispute over fencing at the front of her plot.
During the attack, the neighbours kicked and slapped her in the face, twisted her arm, and threw her onto the street. The woman, identified as Narmada, fell unconscious during the assault. The accused fled the scene, leaving her lying unconscious on the road.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the spot, and the footage is now rapidly going viral on social media.
According to police, the woman had been involved in a year-long dispute with her neighbours over fencing in front of the plot. On Wednesday, three to four men allegedly entered the house. They had brought their pet dog with them and immediately began hurling abuses.
At the time, Narmada and her grandson Nishant were present in the house. As soon as they came out, the men allegedly began assaulting and abusing them. They beat Narmada, threw her to the ground, and dragged her outside.
During the assault, Narmada sustained serious injuries and fell unconscious. Hearing the commotion, neighbours gathered at the scene and protested, following which the accused fled.

India on Monday said it has not held bilateral talks with the United States on deploying naval vessels to secure merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The clarification came after US President Donald Trump urged countries to send warships to keep the strategic waterway open amid tensions with Iran.
