
Catering van hits parked IndiGo aircraft at Kolkata airport

According to sources, the incident happened when the catering vehicle lurched forward on being started up.
A catering van collided with a parked aircraft belonging to low-cost carrier IndiGo at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Tuesday.
The incident took place at Bay No. 51 of the airport. The mishap resulted in minor damage to the aircraft.
According to sources, the incident happened when the car lurched forward on being started up. The abrupt movement caused the car to collide with the aircraft's engine.
No injuries have so far been reported due to the mishap.
