Can bat, bowl, field and now fly: Glenn Phillips shows pilot skills, video goes viral
India Today
Glenn Phillips flaunted his skills as a pilot as he landed a small aircraft in Auckland. Phillips has been vocal about his ambition of being a pilot and considers it to be a career option after retiring from cricket.
Is there anything that Glenn Phillips cannot do? This is often a question asked when he is on the field wearing the colours of the New Zealand team. Phillips has shown during the course of his career that he is one of the best fielders in the world with his acrobatic efforts, can be more than handy with the ball in hand, safe with the gloves behind the stumps and is one of the best power-hitters in the game and can bat left-handed if needed. Now, the all-rounder is showing off his skills inside the cockpit.
The Blackcaps star showed off his skills as a pilot on Tuesday, March 17, as he successfully landed a light aircraft at Auckland’s Ardmore Aerodrome. Phillips shared an Instagram post on his official account, which showed him pulling off a technical manoeuvre to safely land the flight.

Phillips has made it no secret that he is a big fan of flying and said that if he had a lot of money, he would have opted for a career in aviation rather than cricket. He even hinted that being a pilot will be first on the list when it comes to looking for a career after cricket.
