Congress slams BJP’s ‘intolerance’
Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary C.T. Ravi on Saturday called on Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to rename Indira Canteens, a flagship programme of the previous Congress government named after former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, triggering a row as Congress rushed to defend their leader. The demand comes a day after the Union government renamed the country’s highest sports award after veteran hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, removing the name of another former Prime Minister and Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi.More Related News
