BTS member Jin undergoes surgery for finger injury. Fans wish him a speedy recovery

BTS's Jin had to undergo surgery for an injury to his left index finger.
Kim Seokjin of BTS had to undergo a surgery to treat an injury in his left index finger on Friday. According to an announcement made by BigHit Music on Weverse, Jin had to visit the emergency room after injuring his finger on March 18.
“Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities and visited the emergency room at a hospital nearby for examination and treatment on Friday, March 18. He consulted doctors and was told he required surgery as the tendons in the finger had been partially damaged. He underwent surgery to repair the extensor in his left index finger on the afternoon of Friday, March 18. The surgery went well according to the doctors. Jin was discharged from the hospital on the morning of Saturday, March 19 and has been resting. He will wear a cast for the time being for stabilization and a speedy recovery,” read a portion of the Weverse announcement.
Within a few minutes, the news spread on Twitter and fans poured in good wishes for Jin’s speedy recovery. The wishes were so many in number that #GetWellSoonJin has started trending on Twitter.
