BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy accuses Karimnagar CP of misusing government vehicles for personal use and demands an inquiry.
HYDERABAD
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA from Huzurabad Padi Kaushik Reddy has accused the Karimnagar Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam of misusing his position by allowing the use of a vehicle allotted to him (TS-09-PA-4195) by private persons in Hyderabad for the last eight months.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said the CP had also allotted two drivers from one constable posted in Karimnagar, one town police station, and one armed reserve constable as drivers for the SUV (Innova) for private use in Hyderabad. The government vehicle was being used by the father of the Karimnagar CP’s close friend and an IRS officer.
Further, he alleged that the CP’s brother was also driving another government vehicle (TS-09-PA-5601) and two women constables were working for the CP’s wife, who was doing an outsourced job in Karimnagar. He demanded that the DGP inquire into the misuse of government vehicles.
