Bihar BJP chief demands review of liquor ban law, alleges police-liquor mafia nexus

Bihar BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal said that six years have passed since the liquor ban law was implemented in Bihar and it needs to be reviewed as several people died due to consumption of spurious liquor in the state.

Amid outcry over the deaths due to consumption of spurious liquor in Bihar, the BJP, an ally in the Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) government, has demanded a review of the liquor ban law.

Bihar BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal said that six years have passed since the liquor ban law was implemented in the state and now it needs to be reviewed.
