Big B shares Jalsa’s history, reveals Chupke Chupke and other films were shot there

Amitabh Bachchan shared some facts about his bungalow, Jalsa, with his fans. The actor revealed that memorable films such as Anand, Namak Haram, Chupke Chupke and Satte Pe Satta, among others were shot at the residence.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a piece of trivia about his residence, Jalsa, with his fans on social media. As Hrishikesh Mukherjee's film, Chupke Chupke, clocked in 46 years of its release, Amitabh shared that he movie and many others were shot in the premises of the bungalow where he now resides. He shared a still from Chupke Chupke featuring his wife Jaya by his side and revealed the history of Jalsa. On 46 years of Chupke Chupke, Big B took a trip down the memory lane and talked about the location where it was shot, his home now, Jalsa. The actor wrote, “Chupke Chupke “ our film by Hrishikesh MUKERJI.. closing today at 46 years ..!! This house you see in the picture is Producer NC Sippy’s house .. we bought it , then sold it , then bought it back again .. rebuilt it .. this is our home now JALSA !! Many films were shot here .. Anand, NamakHaram , Chupke Chupke , Satte pe Satta , and many more (sic).”
