During a recent function at Bolpur, Badyakar mentioned that he was not going to give up his peanut selling business.
Bhuban Badyakar, the peanut seller from West Bengal who sang the viral Kacha Badam song has said that he won’t give up his livelihood of selling peanuts. Back in February, Bhuban Badyakar had mentioned that he had become a celebrity and would refrain from going back to his old job of selling peanuts.
Badyakar had sustained minor injuries while learning to drive his second-hand car. He was admitted to a hospital in Birbhum district of West Bengal.
However, during a recent function at Bolpur, Badyakar mentioned that he was not going to give up his peanut selling business.
“I will never stop selling peanuts because that is what brings food and clothes to my family. My business is sacred to me, so I won’t give up on it. I am a simple man and I want simple things,” Badyakar told India Today.

When asked whether his fame will affect his peanut business, Badyakar said, ”As long as I have the support of people, I have no problem with going to villages to sell peanuts”.
