BHU Exams 2021: Offline exams cancelled due to rise in Covid-19 cases

The BHU campus has been closed for students and the upcoming end-term exams in offline mode have been cancelled due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has recently announced that the offline examinations, scheduled to be conducted in the upcoming weeks, have been cancelled by the university administration because of the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases in the area. A meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof.Rakesh Bhatnagar, reviewed the situation of teaching-learning, in wake of rising cases of #Covid19 positive students in the hostels and increasing number of #COVID19 positive cases in #BHU Hospital. @VCofficeBHU(1/1) pic.twitter.com/SAcQT6qVuS Keeping in mind the current Covid-19 situation, the BHU Vice-Chancellor announced that all offline classes have been suspended and the students are being urged to go home and vacate the hostels for their own safety due to the increase in the number of cases on campus and BHU hospital. It has also been announced by the VC of the university that though the campus has been shut down for the students, the faculty members are expected to function according to their usual routine. “Faculty members shall perform their duties as usual,” the official notice reads.More Related News
