Beyonce dedicated the homepage of her website to the Duchess of Sussex and wrote a public thank-you note to her. In the note, which comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce thanked Meghan for her "courage and leadership". Sharing a picture of the pair meeting for the very first time, along with their husbands, at the London premiere of The Lion King in the summer of 2019, Beyonce wrote, "Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you (sic)."
