A dispute over a pet dog urinating in a Bengaluru apartment complex escalated into a physical altercation after residents attacked the owner, which was caught on CCTV.
A CCTV footage of an altercation inside a Bengaluru apartment complex involving a dispute over a pet dog that escalated into a physical fight involving several senior citizens has left social media users shocked.
The incident took place on March 3 at Brigade Eutopia East Antopia Apartments in Bengaluru’s Varthur area, where resident Tarun Arora had taken his dog out for a walk within the complex.
According to preliminary information, the dispute began when Arora walked his dog near an area within the apartment premises that had been designated for senior citizens to walk and exercise. Residents present there reportedly objected to the dog being brought close to the walking zone.
Police said the argument intensified after the dog allegedly urinated in the area, leading to a heated exchange between Arora and some of the senior citizens present at the spot.
The CCTV footage of the incident had also surfaced online, where one of the senior citizens struck Arora, causing his phone to fall to the ground. Then, it quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
The situation could be seen turning more violent when seven to eight senior citizens also attacked him, kicking him and hitting him with their hands.

The profiles of at least three of China's leading nuclear, missile and radar experts were scrubbed from the website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the country's most prestigious academic body. This comes as a series of purges under Premier Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign have decimated the upper echelons of China's military and scientific community.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.
