Battlegrounds India pre-registrations have hit 40 million on Google Play Store. The company has revealed that 20 million players took part in the early access.
The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India, the rebranded India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, was launched in the country for Android users on July 2. "We at Krafton are delighted to introduce Battlegrounds Mobile India for our fans in India today. Designed exclusively for our Indian fans and gamers, Battlegrounds Mobile India will provide a superlative gaming experience," CH Kim, CEO of Krafton, said in a statement. The game's developer, Krafton, has now revealed via a blog post that Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registrations on Google Play for Android hit 40 million, with 20 million taking part in the game's early access launch. Battlegrounds Mobile India went live for pre-registration on Google Play Store on May 18.
