Bachchhan Paandey's Kriti Sanon says she wants to do a patriotic film, hints at new project

After Bachchhan Paandey, Kriti Sanon now wants to do a patriotic film. In a recent media interaction, the actress revealed the same and even hinted at a new project.
Kriti Sanon has won the audience’s hearts with her stunning performance in Bachchhan Paandey. The film, which released on March 18, has opened to positive reviews. It also clocked in Rs 13 crore in just one day of its release. Ahead of that, Kriti sat down for a media interaction in Delhi where she talked about the film, her wish to perform in a patriotic movie and co-star Akshay Kumar pranking them all on the sets.
Kriti Sanon said that she wants to do a patriotic film next and also hinted at a new project. The actress said, “I would love to do a patriotic film. I love watching that genre. I have somehow not found a patriotic film that excites me yet but hopefully. There is something I have heard but I don’t know if it works or not.” The actress didn’t reveal much about this new project.
Kriti said that there were many special moments while shooting Bachchhan Paandey. She said, “It was the time we were shooting in Jaisalmer. We had a whole crew and we took a plane there. We were residing in the Suryagarh Palace and the Bewafa song was shot there only. It was just us. We used to eat together, play games so it became a huge family. I had the most fun on that set.”
Akshay Kumar is known to be a prankster on sets so did he play any pranks on her? Kriti Sanon said, “This is a myth that he is a prankster. He does little things like hiding my mic or cheating in dumb charades. He does a lot of masti. He has a great sense of humour so he keeps you always entertained.”
Bachchhan Paandey is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the role of a gangster, while Kriti Sanon plays an aspiring director.
