The news comes almost two weeks after it was reported that the actor was under police investigation for sexual assault. The Billion Dollar Spy is a thriller directed by Amma Asante and stars Mads Mikkelsen. The Billion Dollar Spy is based on a real-life story. Before Armie’s exit, the makers had cast him in the role of Brad Reid, a fresh recruit at the Moscow station of the CIA. The story develops around Brad, who is approached by Soviet engineer Adolf Tolkachev, essayed by Mikkelsen.
