Arjun Rampal plans to turn director soon. Says 'always had ideas for making a film but shied away'

Arjun Rampal might turn director soon! The Ra.One actor said that he's always had ideas for making a film but shied away.

After working as an actor in films for over two decades now, Arjun Rampal might turn director soon. The actor, who was last seen in a villainous avatar in Dhaakad, has plans to make a film next. However, he says that he’s always had the idea of making a film someday but then, shies away.

From playing the critical role of Arun Gawli in Daddy or a politician in Rajneeti to a villain in Ra.One and Dhaakad, Arjun Rampal has quite many hit projects in his filmography. But now, chances are rife that the actor might don the director’s hat. Talking about his directorial plans, Arjun shared, “There’s so much more to look forward to every day and my main motive is to perform different roles, there should not be any boundaries when working in this industry.”

Further adding, “Direction is obviously a great challenge but it is something that excites me and mesmerises me each time as my every role in a movie that I choose does. I am really very much inclined towards it. I want to direct great actors and give out great movies with amazing stories. I will surely make best movies if I ever direct one, I have always had ideas for making a film but then shy away.”

Work-wise, Arjun Rampal has quite many projects in the pipeline. He was last seen in The Rapist and Dhaakad. Arjun will soon make his debut in South with a Pawan Kalyan film. Apart from this, he is working on an action thriller with Vidyut Jammwal, Crack and filming the ambitious Battle of Bhima Koregaon.
