A pill-shaped punch-hole on the iPhone 14 Pro series will bring Apple closer to its rivals in the race as to who can find the best workaround for the front camera.
Apple’s iPhone 14 series is likely to arrive later this year, and that means we have nearly 10 months to learn, unlearn, and then learn again about the next-generation iPhone. Last year, we learnt from the grapevine that the iPhone 14 will ditch the notch in favour of a punch-hole. It looks like this change is coming off as a solid one, since more rumours are pointing at it. A new tipster has now corroborated the leaks around the punch-hole and added that it would be the size of a pill.
Tipster DylanDKT, who has a good track record when it comes to Apple-related leaks, has approved the leaks that have been floating around for some time. He said the iPhone 14 Pro series, which will include the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, will feature a pill-shaped cutout in the display instead of a notch. That means the FaceTime camera on the iPhone will find a new place to sit. But what about all the sensors that help in the Face ID biometric process?
