Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah was in a toxic relationship. Here's what helped her get over it.

Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's daughter, Aaliyah, is an active social media user. The star kid often shares updates about her life on Instagram and YouTube. Recently, Aaliyah shared a video in which she recalled being in a toxic relationship and how she got out of it. On September 1, Anurag's daughter shared a video on YouTube titled, 'Girl Talk episode 5', in which she answered several questions from netizens. When one netizen asked, 'Have you ever been in a toxic relationship? And how did you get out of it?', Aaliyah opened up about her personal life.

Responding to the question, Aaliyah said, "I have been in a toxic relationship and I am not going to lie about it, it’s not the easiest thing to get out of, especially if you have been together for a while because it is all you know. So, when you imagine not being with that person, it gets a bit hard."

She further revealed what helped her get over the toxic relationship. "What helped me was that I realised I needed to prioritise myself. And that’s what you should do. You should always put yourself first, and if you are in a relationship that’s clearly causing harm to your mental health, if it is affecting you strongly, then it’s important that you to prioritise yourself, your mental health and get out of it," shared Aaliyah.

Aaliyah is currently in a relationship with Shane Gregoire. The star kid often shares photos with her boyfriend on social media and she is quite vocal about their relationship. Aaliyah is the daughter of Anurag and his ex-wife, Aarti Bajaj.
