
Andhra minister caught on video abusing, threatening police inspector during CM event in Vizag

Andhra animal husbandry minister Seediri Appalaraju was caught on video abusing and threatening a police inspector during CM Jagan’s visit to the annual festival of Sri Sarada Peetham in Visakhapatnam.
The four-hour-long visit of Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy witnessed a heated argument between police and state animal husbandry minister Seediri Appalaraju. The CM was participating in the annual festival of Sri Sarada Peetham in Visakhapatnam.
During the CM’s visit on Wednesday, February 9, the minister was caught on camera abusing and threatening a police inspector. The video of the incident has been doing the rounds on social media.
Appala Raju was miffed after the inspector stopped the entry of his supporters inside Sri Sharada Peetham where CM was participating in an event. Later, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) arrived and pacified the minister.
However, this incident has attracted criticism from the opposition.

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
