To cater to people's water needs, he bought a Mahindra Bolero maxi-truck in September 2021 using his pension, life savings and donations from well-wishers, according to a description on his website. The truck is fitted with two 1000-litre water tanks. Mahindra thanked Natarajan for his service to the community.
