Aircraft was cleared to land on runway 11, there was no readback, next ATC saw flames: Govt on Baramati crash
The government on Wednesday issued a statement revealing the sequence of events related to the plane crash that killed Maharashtra Deputy Minister Ajit Pawar and four others in Baramati.
The government said the aircraft was cleared to land on runway 11 at 8:43 AM on Wednesday after the first failed landing attempt by the pilot. However, there was no readback after the clearance and the next minute at 8:44 AM, ATC saw flames.

India on Monday said it has not held bilateral talks with the United States on deploying naval vessels to secure merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The clarification came after US President Donald Trump urged countries to send warships to keep the strategic waterway open amid tensions with Iran.

This moment comes days after the Supreme Court allowed Harish Rana to die with dignity – a historic first court-ordered case of passive euthanasia in India.
