AI’s impact on healthcare to take centre stage at 10th edition of CAHOCON

Join 2,500 healthcare leaders at CAHOCON 2026 in Chennai, focusing on AI's impact on healthcare quality and patient safety.
The 10th edition of CAHOCON 2026, a national conference on healthcare quality and patient safety organised by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO), will be hosted in Chennai from April 10 to 12.
Addressing a press meet, Vijay Agarwal, president of CAHO, said that the conference is expected to bring together around 2,500 healthcare leaders, clinicians, administrators, and policymakers, including more than 200 international delegates.
Recognised by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) as the first ISQua Regional Conference for South Asia, the event will feature addresses by 20 international experts. The theme for this year’s conference is “Tech. Touch. Trust: The New Healthcare Code,” focusing on innovation, reliability, and human-centred care in healthcare delivery, said Lallu Joseph, secretary general of CAHO, and quality manager at Christian Medical College, Vellore.
The conference will feature scientific sessions, panel discussions, innovation showcases and poster presentations on patient safety, healthcare quality, accreditation and digital transformation, said Sathish Devadoss, organising secretary of CAHOCON 2026 and vice chairman of Devadoss Multispecialty Hospitals.
Pre-conference workshops on April 10 will involve 32 hospitals from Chennai and focus on practical training in quality improvement and patient safety.
